The Z-FORCE SX 48 Zero Turn is a serious zero turn mower for demading conditions and uneven terain. Suitable for the largest residential blocks and small acerage applications.
With a strong fabricated steel cutting deck, and powerful 24 HP Kawasaki V-Twin engine, the Z-FORCE SX 48 is tough enough to take whatever you can throw at it.
Steering wheel control and 4 wheel steering means the Z-FORCE SX 48 is safer and more stable on sloping terrain, compared to traditional lap bar controlled zero turn mowers.
The unique combination of zero turn agility and stable safe handling on slopes makes the Z-FORCE SX 48 a perfect mower for challenging terrain where a regular zero turn would not suffice.

- A Tough Capable Mower
We bought our Cub Cadet mower October 2020 and it was the best thing we could have done. Our previous machine was lap-bar 42" and wasn't up to the job we expected of it.
Mowing on slopes and rough terrain is no problem for the Z-Force SX. This mow is really tough while being much easier to control vs. our old mower, it will go where you point it and is much faster getting the job done.
The cutting deck is almost self cleaning, it rarely clogs but - I don't mow wet grass. The blade design is the best I've seen. Really tough and the blades can take a belting while remaining sharp. The Kevlar drive belt handles heat better than rubber and that prevents slipping.
The seat and arm rests, combined with wider rear tyres makes for a comfortable ride and the two large fuel tanks means I get a lot done without having to refuel.
One final point - Cub Cadet mowers are made in the USA. They are really well built. They are designed for large area tough jobs and won't give you any problems.
I highly recommend this model.

- 3 things to make it better
we think that it is a great mower but 3 things that would make it even better , 1 the seat adjustment tab is too well hidden and needs to be longer , 2 the seat needs to come further forward as for small people ( 5 feet tall) it makes it really hard to reach the pedals and starting is really hard and 3 it needs a hook system on the chute flap so as when you put it away in a tight space you can hook it up and not have to make modifications yourself. aside from that all good thanks
